Sandalwood essential oil is used in skin care treatments of varicose veins, treatment of eczema, psoriasis, oily skin and acne. May have a relaxing quality on nerves in an agitated state; which can lead to headaches, insomnia and nervous tension.  It is recommended for use in respiratory tract infections.

More Information about the Essential 3 Sandalwood (Mysore) Essential Oil

Applications:

• Inhalation: Add 3-5 drops onto a tissue and inhale or inhale directly from bottle.
• Vaporizer: Add 5-7 drops onto a vaporizer to fill the air with the therapeutic vapor.
• Steam Inhalation: Add 3 drops of oil to 4 cups of hot, steaming water poured into a large bowl. Hold your head over the bowl and cover your head and bowl with a towel, being careful not to bring your face too close to the hot water. Close your eyes and breathe slowly and deeply, continuing the treatment for about 15 minutes. If you feel uncomfortable, stop the treatment.
• Massage Lotion: Adult use: Add 5-7 drops to a ½ oz. carrier oil or an unscented all natural lotion.
• Body Lotion:Add 5-7 drops to a ½ oz. of unscented all natural lotion and apply to your body as desired.
