I needed to replace my old face rest frame because the gears would slip and drop the head a little. This new one is quite tight and holds even for heavier heads. The one drawback is that it requires a lot of force to unlock and lock again. This is hard on my hands but not sure of a solution. It might loosen a bit over time.
