My back was feeling fatigued after a day at work as a manual physical therapist on an old stool. I hoped that a good quality stool with a backrest would be more supportive, and this stool delivered. The backrest adjusts up and down and forward and back. The chair glides smoothly and quietly over my carpet. The fabric has some friction to it, just like the Earthlite tables. Once you're on it, you're not going to slide around on it. It takes a little extra planning to sit on it exactly where you want to be in relation to the backrest, but once you're there, you stay put. You don't slide away from the support, which is nice. The staff at Massage King was very helpful. They responded right away and helped me find the stool I wanted even though Earthlite was backed up with orders. (Thank you, Brian!)
